Ahh the Wonderful World of Formatting!!

So I've been up this morning searching for various blogs and instructions on formatting my ebooks. And one thing I've learned is that it's complicated and totally different from traditional publishing and layouts. So I'm stuck with having to wrap my head around a whole new way of doing things which is always umm "fun". The plan today was to knock out The Sewing Machine, so tomorrow I could have the entire day to proof and make all corrections maybe even squeeze in a little time to design the cover and back pages. If would be perfect if I could get the book on the Amazon marketplace during the upcoming Black Friday weekend when there will be a lot of shoppers online and such. But all hope is not lost. I found a few websites and blogs that are really helpful so I'm taking the plunge and will try to make my deadline today. Wish me luck :)  Oh and btw, I worked a concept for the cover last night and yes I know the watermarks is still on it but as soon as I finish writing I'm going to purchase the full rights to the photos. But best believe, I will not be using anything on my books that I don't have full intellectual property rights for.
